The mighty Zambezi River is the waterway that plunges 355 feet straight through the Batoka Gorge to form “the smoke that thunders,” also known as the world-famous Victoria Falls. Todd Nelson and his family took on one of the seven wonders of the world with complete gusto: dangling over the precipice of the falls, bungee jumping backward into the Batoka Gorge and battling to stay afloat while whitewater rafting in the 15-mile stretch of twists and turns down the raging Zambezi River.

The Nelsons re-create this adventure in the Zambezi Outdoor Waterpark, where guests are able to discover the thrills as they did.
